Fixed Term / Full Time (Until December 2026) Monday to Friday, 76 hours per fortnight, 9 day fortnight $74,247 pro rata per annum (LGIA Stream B Level 2 + Site + Leading Hand 1 Allowance) + Superannuation Location – Rockhampton Your new role We are seeking a motivated and experienced Traffic Control Team Leader to join our civil operations team. In this role, you will provide daily support to the Supervisor while coordinating and supervising the activities of the traffic control crew. In this role, you’ll be keeping things moving and safe — directing traffic, checking signs and barriers, making sure sites are set up right, and jumping in on construction or maintenance tasks when needed. This is a hands on position where no two days are the same, offering the opportunity to work outdoors, contribute to important civil projects, and be part of a supportive, hardworking team. This position requires the completion of a satisfactory Criminal History Check - Police Certificate (Australia Wide Name Only Police Check). What we are looking for Be a Queensland Accredited Traffic Controller and hold a valid Traffic Controller Industry Authority Card. Proven experience in traffic control and leading a small team Traffic Management Implementation and/or ability to obtain. First Aid Certificate and/or willingness to obtain.
