In this role, your primary mission is to cultivate a culture of responsible AI usage across Macquarie. You will be an advocate for safe AI, developing and implementing practical frameworks, policies, and tools that are seen as enablers, not obstacles. A critical part of your role will be to empower the organisation by executing a strategy to democratise AI risk knowledge, designing and delivering a continuous cycle of training and resources. You will be providing pragmatic, solutions-oriented advice that balances risk and commercial opportunity. In addition, you will build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships across our Operating and Central Service Groups, ensuring AI governance is embedded into strategic decision‑making. What You Offer Prior experience in a field related to technology governance, AI strategy, product management, or risk management within a complex, innovative environment A positive, commercial risk mindset, with a proven ability to balance innovation and growth with robust governance Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage, influence, and build trust with a wide variety of audiences Relevant tertiary qualifications are valued, but we are primarily interested in your experience and impact.
