This is a unique opportunity for an engineer with a strong design background to step out of the office and get hands‑on. Our client is a design consultancy, with over 100 staff, looking for someone who wants to bridge the gap between design and construction. You'll work across a wide variety of civil projects, from earthworks and road design to complex stormwater and environmental engineering challenges. This is the perfect path to a senior role, blending the familiar ground of consultancy work with new, tangible experience. Key Responsibilities Lead a variety of civil projects, managing the full project lifecycle. Be the key liaison between our design team and clients on‑site. Contribute to the design and delivery of diverse projects, including preliminary site grading, integrated road and drainage works, and detailed car‑parking and pavement design. Work on complex stormwater modelling and management plans, including on‑site detention sizing and basin design. Use your technical skills to solve real‑world challenges on‑site, including sediment and erosion control and coffer dam de‑watering. Skills and Experience 6+ years of experience as a Civil Engineer, preferably within a design consultancy. You'll be comfortable with Civil 3D and skilled in pavement design and surface water design. Familiarity with MUSIC, DRAINS, and WSC is a big plus. Most importantly, you should be keen to get on‑site and apply your design knowledge in a dynamic, hands‑on environment.
