Vegetation Manager

We are seeking a qualified and motivated Vegetation Manager to help maintain and enhance the Club’s iconic heathland and natural landscapes. This is an exceptional opportunity to work within a high-performance team, contributing to one of Australia’s most celebrated golfing environments. The successful applicant must be committed, reliable, energetic, and possess a strong eye for detail. Golf knowledge is advantageous but not essential. Key Responsibilities Managing all aspects of vegetation care across heathland and natural areas Planting, propagation, and establishment of indigenous species Weed control, restoration, and general ecological maintenance Supervising and supporting staff working within heathland or vegetation areas Maintaining accurate records for plantings, propagation, and environmental programs Qualifications & Skills Qualifications in Conservation and Land Management (or equivalent) Strong machinery operation skills with appropriate licences Demonstrated experience in vegetation management, ideally within heathland or similar environments Ability to manage, mentor, and coordinate staff Strong organisation and record-keeping capabilities Effective communication and teamwork skills A proven track record in vegetation management is essential.
