Talent Acquisition Partner at Workforce Solutions, a division of NTT Ltd Our client is midway through a strategic transformation program focused on modernizing their data management and storage capabilities. With legacy on-premise systems being retired and a cloud-first architecture (Databricks-led) underway, the ingestion layer and foundational business case have been delivered. However, the business-facing data layer remains untouched. To bridge this gap, we are seeking a skilled Technical Business Analyst to help define scalable data solutions that support analytics, BI, and operational readiness. About the Role This role sits at the intersection of business and technology, requiring a BA who can translate business needs into technical deliverables, manage documentation and backlogs, and support operational transition. Candidates with experience in financial services or regulatory environments will be highly regarded. Please note that Australian Citizenship is required, in aid of gaining National Security Clearance if required. Duties of the Role Engage with business stakeholders to gather, validate, and refine data-related requirements. Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure technical solutions align with business objectives. Define and document process flows, SLA mappings, and operational handover artifacts. Manage and prioritize product backlogs, translating requirements into actionable user stories. Facilitate workshops, interviews, and working sessions to drive consensus and clarity. Support transition-to-operations activities, ensuring readiness for BAU environments. Skills Required Proven experience as a Technical BA in data transformation or cloud migration projects. Strong understanding of data models, ingestion pipelines, and analytics platforms (Databricks preferred). Ability to document technical processes, manage backlogs, and define SLAs with precision. Comfortable bridging communication between business analysts and engineering teams. Experience supporting operational transition and readiness planning for BAU environments. Domain knowledge in financial services or regulatory reporting is highly advantageous.
