Salary and Benefits Performance based incentives 3 days bonus leave during the Christmas/New Year period Retail and Entertainment discounts across leading brands Opportunities to upskill with qualifications Employee Assistance program for staff and their immediate families Cultural Awareness training Job Description We are looking for a Business Development Coordinator to work closely with Employers', Program staff and Managers and training organisations to find and create sustainable jobs and career opportunities through employer engagement and employer stakeholder meetings to drive sustainable job placement activity for Workforce Australia and Inclusive Employment Australia participants. This role will be based in Cairns however will cover both Cairns and Townsville region. This will be a high-volume role placing multiple participants into sustainable employment. Desired Skills and Experience Proven ability to identify, approach and secure partnerships with employers across multiple sectors Skill in understanding employer workforce needs and aligning them with jobseeker capability Strong negotiation and relationship building skills to create sustainable employment pathways Ability to design and pitch inclusive employment solutions to employers including role carving and job design Car and driver’s license Excellent interpersonal skills Time management and organisational skills – well‑presented and personable Strategic thinker. Able to provide strategic advice, develop options, analyse risks, make good judgments, and solve problems. Able to develop highly effective working relationships by building credibility, respect and rapport with internal and external networks.
