We are excited to welcome patient, dedicated and highly motivated piano teachers to apply to fill our new teaching positions. We offer an impressive hourly rate and great working conditions for all new teachers in the field or experienced teachers. We also welcome university students to apply. Candidates are expected to: Have a long‑term commitment and passion in teaching young beginners. Be familiar with ABRSM and/or AMEB syllabus. Able to deliver high quality one‑on‑one piano/theory lessons for students from 5 years old to adults. Be responsible in all aspects of self‑designed music programs, which involves preparations for piano/theory examinations, competitions, end‑of‑year recitals as well as accompaniments. Demonstrate reliability, punctuality and commitment to service excellence. Skills and experience Current Victorian Working With Children Check. Prior piano teaching (minimum 2 years experience) and accompaniment experiences are preferred. Education Bachelor’s Degree in Music (desirable but not necessary) would be considered. Achieved good results in Major Music Board examinations (ABRSM, AMEB and Trinity). Other requirements Applicants must hold a Working With Children Check and a valid visa to work legally in Australia. You will be required to teach and to write end‑of‑year reports as part of your employment. Be careful – do not provide your bank or credit card details when applying for jobs.
