Job Title Salisbury - Disability Support Worker Employer Help at Hand Support Services Location Salisbury, South Australia, Australia Employment Type Full-time Job Description Help at Hand Support Services is looking for experienced Disability Support Workers who will provide a person‑centred approach to support. Your daily routine will depend on the individual you are supporting; each day could involve escorting a client to a beach outing, a cinema or a game, attending medical appointments, or providing companionship at home. Responsibilities Assist clients with daily living activities. Provide support while attending medical appointments. Provide companionship and company at clients’ homes. Engage clients in enjoyable activities such as outings or recreational programs. Qualifications Own a fully insured and reliable vehicle. Have a current police check (International or Current Police Check within 6 months of application). Cert III in Disability or equivalent experience. Current Working with Children check. Current First Aid/CPR certificates. Full and clean Australian driver’s licence. Be punctual, reliable and flexible. Good written and verbal communication skills. Empathetic and proactive with a genuine interest to work in this field. Ability to self‑supervise and remain calm and composed at times of crisis.
