Our client is a multi-Disciplinary Engineering Consulting firm with over 50 years of history delivering engineering projects across the east coast of Australia. With continued project growth this year and into 2026, they are seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to step into a pivotal role within their expanding civil team, in the Gold Coast. This opportunity arises as a senior team member transitions into a different internal position, creating a clear leadership lane with strong project visibility, client interaction and team influence from day one. The opportunity You’ll lead the design and delivery of subdivision, urban development, drainage and civil infrastructure projects, driving outcomes across concept, design and project execution. The role blends hands‑on technical work with project oversight, client engagement and mentoring of junior team members. Key Responsibilities Manage civil design delivery across subdivisions, stormwater, roadworks and water/wastewater. Oversee timelines, budgets and technical quality across multiple concurrent projects. Engage directly with clients, councils and key stakeholders to advance approvals. Contribute to proposals, pricing and tender responses. Coach and guide engineers and designers to uplift capability and delivery standards. Support continuous improvement across systems, documentation and ISO-aligned processes. About you Bachelor of Civil Engineering. 9+ years of experience in the urban development, subdivisions and civil infrastructure backgrounds An understanding in 12D and AutoCAD. Experience in stormwater design; flood modelling (TUFLOW / HEC-RAS) advantageous. Strong stakeholder communication, report writing and technical coordination skills. Knowledge of SEQ authority standards and Australian codes. RPEQ or on the cusp of gaining RPEQ. Ambitious, delivery-focused and ready for broader responsibility.
