About the role Sands Fridge Lines is seeking experienced drivers to join our growing team in Forrestfield, WA 6058. These positions are primarily for the night shift, but day shift roles are also available. Drivers will deliver to fast food restaurants throughout the metro area, involving approximately 60% hand unloading and 40% driving each workday. As a driver for Sands Fridge Lines, you will play a vital role in delivering quality service to our customers within the road transport industry. Responsibilities Safely operate a 14-pallet rigid truck Transport goods and materials Adhere to all road rules and safety regulations Maintain accurate logs and documentation Assist with loading and unloading of vehicles Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive relationships with clients Contribute to the overall efficient operation of the transport fleet Perform hand unloading (60% of the time at work) Drive (40% of the time at work) Work Schedule Work nights: Monday to Friday Work times: Night Shift: 11 pm to 7 am Pay Night shift: $38.25 per hour, with overtime after 38 hours. Qualifications Valid HR driver’s licence Experience driving commercial vehicles within the road transport industry Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work well in a team Reliable and punctual, with a flexible approach to working hours Knowledge of road transport regulations and guidelines Benefits We are committed to the wellbeing and development of our employees.
