Our Metal Coated Department at our Springhill Manufacturing facility is looking for a Process and Product Leader to join the team. As part of the broader Manufacturing Portfolio we have facilities including Springhill that deliver variety of coated products innovative solutions and services to our domestic and export customers. The Metal Coating Department produces and supplies metal-coated products for building pre-painted distribution and manufacturing applications. As a key member of the Shift Management Team youll provide technical support to the production lines and services within the department. Youll help ensure customer expectations are met by monitoring product quality and output during your shift. You will work closely with the maintenance team to ensure optimum operation of the line equipment. This is a great opportunity to further your leadership skills and take responsibility for leading the operations of the line and supporting the shift operations team leader. This position works a 12-hour shift 4 on (2 days / 2 nights) 4 off roster. Shift start and finish times are 6am 6pm. What Will You Do Work collaboratively with shift operators and other Process Leaders you will : ensuresafety standards are never compromised making suitable changes when risks and opportunities are identified ensure product quality and compliance standards are met Train and enhance operator understanding of process and product maintain asset performance and collaborate with team members to improve equipment performance capability and costs coordinate development strategies for improved process control manage non-conforming product for re-classing supportmanagement during Metal Coating Line change initiatives resolveproduction issues in a timely manner More About You As a resultsdriven individual with strong leadership and problem-solving skills you will also have : tertiary qualifications in a related discipline (ie. engineering science or process) a commitment to the safety and wellbeing of yourself and others the ability to lead and influence others through coaching and decision-making enthusiasm and initiative while working with competing priorities an ability to meet operational requirements scheduling and people demands Why BlueScope As were creating strength for the future through our people products and solutions BlueScope supports you to build your expertise within a safe and positive team environment.
