Our Port Kembla Manufacturing facility is looking for a Process Technical Lead in our Metal Coating Department based in our Springhill Manufacturing facility. As a part of the broader Australian Steel Products portfolio we have six major manufacturing sites at Port Kembla that deliver a variety of products, innovative solutions and services to our export and domestic customers. The Metal Coating Lines (MCL) manufactures and supplies metal coated products for building pre‑painted distribution and manufacturing applications. As the Process Technical Lead you’ll provide technical support to the ZINCALUME lines and services by overseeing the product quality and output and ensuring they meet customer requirements. In this essential role you will grow and develop both technically and as a leader focusing on working closely with the shift teams on the continuous production reliability and quality of our products. What Will You Do Working closely with operators and Process Leaders to manage product output whilst building effective relationships both internally and externally you will : support product quality through process improvements and ensuring product standards foster teamwork between shift operations technical process development and maintenance coordinate development strategies for improved process control provide technical support on MCL ZINCALUME lines and striving for business improvements and manufacturing excellence coach mentor and develop the team to enhance capabilities More About You With your technical experience and ability to make calculated decisions while working in a fast‑paced environment you will bring : tertiary qualifications in engineering (ie.
