Senior PowerBI Developer Atturra is looking for a skilled Senior Power BI Developer for a permanent opportunity within our Data & Integration Business, delivering solutions to our Atturra clients in the Federal Government for a Defence Project. Location: Glenbrook, Sydney. The role requires a full‑time commitment on the Defence site and an active AGSVA NV1 Clearance. Work Overview As a Power BI developer you will design, develop and maintain data solutions, author reports, build SSAS tabular models, and manage secure data access and deployment pipelines. Responsibilities Use Microsoft Power BI Desktop to author reports. Develop SSAS tabular models using Microsoft Visual Studio RDS projects. Use Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio to view database objects. Manage source control with Git and Azure DevOps Repos. Configure DevOps release pipelines, Power BI portal security, RLS post‑deployment, and content management. Parameterise data source connections for SQL Direct query. Technical Requirements 6+ years of relevant experience. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field. Advanced skills in Power BI and DAX. Advanced skills in SQL, relational database design and data warehouse solutions (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, Azure). Experience with data ingestion tools such as SSIS & ADF. Working knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Proficiency in data pipeline and workflow management tools. Strong project management, problem‑solving and organisational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Alignment with Atturra’s core values and commitment to professional development.
