Overview Credit Controller / Accounts Assistant – Endeavour Automotive Ltd Hours: 37.5 hours per week Salary: £25,000 to £27,000 depending on experience Location: Endeavour Automotive, Volvo North West London, 100 Centennial Park, Centennial Avenue, Elstree, WD6 3SA At Endeavour Automotive, our vision is to develop a business we can all be proud of by attracting and developing the very best talent and delivering outstanding customer service. We are looking for a highly motivated Accounts Assistant to join our dynamic Accounts Hub. Previous motor trade experience would be an advantage but is not essential. What You'll Do Credit Control Checking and loading payments onto the online banking system Reviewing payment requests for completeness Communicating with the different locations to resolve queries Load payments onto the online banking system for approval Process payments on the in-house DMS system ensuring allocations are accurate Monitor bank receipts to verify cleared funds to the operational team Respond to requests for confirmation of cleared funds from all sites using the online banking system and return confirmations to sites Managing petty cash Credit control / chasing up payments Reconciliation and posting of PDQ daily Processing daily bank payments and receipts Supplier statement reconciliations Processing of Purchase Ledger invoices Allocation of company credit card transactions Work with the finance and operational teams to maintain a robust control environment in line with Group and Brand policies Ad hoc tasks as required General administration tasks Assist ledger teams where needed Assist Accountant and Assistant Accountant with ad hoc tasks Who You Are Highly organized with excellent attention to detail. Analytical with good numerical ability and problem‑solving skills. Good interpersonal skills and the ability to develop effective working relationships at all levels of the business. Energetic, self‑motivated and proactive. Your Experience Experience within the automotive industry is preferable Previous credit control and Accounts Assistant experience Motor trade experience and knowledge of Kerridge would be an advantage Holding an Accounting qualification or desire to study towards an industry‑recognised qualification Excellent communication skills at all levels with an eye for detail This is an excellent opportunity to join our rapidly expanding and innovative business.
