The Roebuck Bay Hotel is seeking an experienced, proactive, and service-driven Hotel Duty Manager to join our leadership team. This is a full-time role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment and is committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences. Responsibilities Oversee the day-to-day operations of the hotel and ensure all standards, procedures, and service expectations are upheld. Support the financial performance of accommodation areas, including budgeting, cost control, and identifying opportunities for revenue improvement. Lead and mentor the Hotel Services Team, ensuring training, performance, and service delivery align with expectations. Manage customer experience outcomes, resolve complex guest issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Maintain and update online content, loyalty programs, and promotional activities in collaboration with Marketing and Events. Conduct inspections, uphold quality standards, and ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of all guest areas. Ensure compliance with safety, WHS obligations, emergency readiness, and regulatory standards. Monitor security procedures and assist in emergency management responses. Report on departmental performance, guest satisfaction, occupancy trends, and operational improvements. Skills and Experience Experience in hotel, motel, or accommodation management (Front Office experience highly regarded). Strong leadership and communication skills. Excellent organisational and time management abilities. The ability to make confident decisions under pressure. Proficiency in property management systems and operational reporting. Qualifications Diploma of Hospitality Management or relevant industry experience (preferred). Current unrestricted C-Class Driver’s Licence.
