As our Finance Team Lead, you'll take ownership of the day-to-day financial operations and ensure the CFO has reliable, high-quality financial information to support strategic analysis and decision-making. You'll lead a small, experienced team across accounts payable, receivable, and payroll - ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance at every step. This role is responsible for delivering accurate trial balance and financial results for CFO review and further analysis. This is a hands‑on role that blends technical precision with practical leadership. You'll manage month‑end reporting, statutory compliance, and audits, while identifying opportunities to streamline processes and strengthen internal controls. You'll also mentor your team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Responsibilities Lead and support a small finance team with professionalism and accountability. Manage the full spectrum of financial accounting operations including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, month-end close, compliance, and audit preparation. Deliver timely and compliant financial reporting. Identify opportunities to improve processes and strengthen internal controls. Communicate effectively with stakeholders across all levels of the business. Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role Proven experience leading or mentoring team members, or formal leadership training Strong technical accounting knowledge and understanding of compliance obligations Excellent organisational and time management skills About BMT Tax Depreciation BMT Tax Depreciation is an experienced, innovative company that specialises in the preparation of tax depreciation reports.
