IMMEDIATE START - We are seeking an Intermediate Tax Accountant to join our growing accounting practice in Campsie. This is a part‑time role (3 days per week to start) with strong potential to transition into a full‑time position for the right candidate. About the Role You will be responsible for a range of day‑to‑day accounting and taxation tasks, including: Preparing financial statements for multiple entity types Managing and processing all types of tax returns Performing account reconciliations Liaising directly with clients and delivering high‑quality service Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations Supporting ongoing process improvements within the firm What We’re Looking For / Must-Have Minimum 2–3 years of experience in preparing financial statements and tax returns in an accounting firm (2–5 years preferred) Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Proficiency with Handitax & Handiledger, Xero, MYOB, Excel, Word, and AI tools Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and time‑management skills Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment Full Australian working rights Must be able to work onsite Why You’ll Enjoy Working With Us On‑site role with close mentorship and opportunities for professional growth Flexibility during onboarding, with potential to transition to full‑time A team that values stability, collaboration, and long‑term success A workplace where your contributions matter and your ideas are welcomed PLEASE NO OVERSEAS APPLICANTS, NO OFF SHORE & NO RECRUITING AGENCIES AS THESE WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED Must-Have Qualifications: 2–5 years of experience preparing financial statements and tax returns within an accounting firm.
