Early Childhood Coordinator Location: Tamworth, NSW Employment type: Full-time This full‑time role is based at Northcott’s Tamworth office and runs through June 2027. Key Benefits Five weeks of annual leave Salary packaging options Discounted gym membership Health insurance Flexible working arrangements – office, community and home based About Northcott Northcott is an NDIS Partner, delivering the Early Childhood Approach across northern NSW, mid‑North Coast, Hunter New England, North Sydney and Western Sydney. The ECA supports children aged 0‑9 with developmental delay or disability in improving independence and social participation. Responsibilities Support families through a child‑and‑family centred approach, ensuring children receive appropriate interventions based on best practice evidence. Use diploma or higher qualifications in Early Childhood, Allied Health, Social Work or a related field to support evidence‑based decision‑making. Complete functional assessments for children with developmental concerns or disabilities, determine needs and make timely referrals. Connect families to community services and mainstream programmes to enhance social participation and access to essential services. Guide families through NDIS plan reassessments, gather evidence, assist with goal development and ensure appropriate supports are in place. Utilise the NDIS plan to increase choice, control, social participation and overall quality of life for children and families. Qualifications & Experience Diploma or higher qualifications in Early Childhood, Allied Health, Social Work or a related field. Experience supporting children with developmental delays or disabilities. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Knowledge of the NDIS framework and early childhood services.
