Estimator – Insurance Building

Were a rapidly growing residential company specialising in insurance home repairs for over 20 years. With a skilled and supportive team based in Beenleigh were seeking an experienced Insurance Estimator to join us. This role involves assessing insurance repair jobs preparing accurate estimates and coordinating with clients and contractors across the Greater Brisbane area including the Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast. As a member of our team youll embrace and uphold these values in every project and decision. The ideal candidate will possess : Carpentry trade qualification (minimum). QBCC Site Supervisors license. Recent experience in residential insurance repairs and renovations. Good understanding of NCC QBCC and trade compliance. Current drivers licence and clean driving history. A positive and friendly can-do approach to life and work. Excellent time management and organisational skills. Willingness to learn and demonstrate energy.Extremely reliable and dependable. Well-presented with a keen eye for detail. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Willingness to complete a police history check before starting. li> Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word Excel Outlook). A solid ability to apply practical judgment with a focus on safety customer service technology and quality. Key duties include : Conducting property inspections and compiling detailed causation reports. Estimating residential building repairs / renovations. Liaising with homeowners insurance companies and loss adjusters. Supervising projects / repairs (both on-site and off-site). Travel to assist with other regional QLD offices.
