About The Role This is a great opportunity to join a market leader in a key customer-facing role. Our mission is to deliver the best customer experience possible, with a strong focus on quality support that helps our clients achieve their business goals. You'll be part of a 17-member engineering team, supporting customers across Australia. Your responsibilities will include installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of advanced scientific and analytical instruments. This role is ideal for a self-motivated, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a dynamic, service-focused environment. What you will do Install and commission complex scientific and analytical instruments, ensuring seamless setup from delivery to customer sign-off. Perform hands-on repairs and routine maintenance, ensuring optimal performance and reliability of equipment across a variety of applications. Troubleshoot technical issues both on-site and remotely, using diagnostic tools and expertise to resolve problems efficiently. Provide remote support and guidance to customers, minimizing downtime and maintaining high service standards. Maintain clear, proactive communication with customers, keeping them informed of progress, next steps, and resolution timelines. Collaborate with internal teams and escalate issues when needed to ensure swift, high-quality technical support and customer satisfaction. About you Relevant qualifications in Electronic or Electrical Engineering (Advanced Diploma or higher), with 2+ years’ experience in technical or customer support. Strong hands-on technical skills, including experience with precision mechanics and the use of diagnostic tools and toolkits. Excellent communication and customer relationship skills, with a service-driven mindset and ability to engage across all levels. Proven ability to problem-solve, stay composed under pressure, and make sound decisions independently in the field. Strong organizational and planning skills, with the initiative to work both autonomously and within a team environment. Willingness to travel (50–60%) across Australasia; experience with XRF/XRD, other analytical instruments, and a radiation safety license (NSW or other) is a strong advantage.
