Your unique skills and perspectives are highly valued here at K&S Disability Care. Responsibilities of the Role Work within individuals' homes, workplaces, and community settings to aid independence. Provide personal and physical care and assistance (grooming, toileting, meal preparation, home support, transportation, medication administration). Assist with physical and communication aids and other personal equipment when necessary. Support clients in participation in interests, hobbies, and community relationships. Facilitate access to recreational and transportation services, including public transport, taxis, and Achieve Australia vehicles. Advocate for and facilitate access to community engagement opportunities for clients, their families, and significant individuals in their lives. Ensure completion of client documentation, including writing case notes, updating our client management system, and managing medical documentation and communication booklets. To be successful in this role Strong interpersonal, role‑modeling, and customer service skills. Problem‑solving abilities with an ability to adapt to changing environments. Understanding and commitment to National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), Code of Conduct, and Workplace Health and Safety. Awareness of human rights and challenges facing individuals with disabilities. Current VIC Driver's Licence – mandatory. CPR certification. First aid certification. National police check. Full comprehensive car insurance. Certificate III in Disability (or higher) – mandatory requirement. Summary of role requirements Weekly availability: Monday – Sunday (Morning, Afternoon, Evening). 1 year of relevant work experience required. Working rights required. Expected start date: ASAP.
