Lifecycle Marketer

Having recently passed 2 million learners worldwide, we are looking for a lifecycle marketer to take the lead on engaging and retaining our users. If you have expertise in CRM marketing, want to make a meaningful social impact, and want to be part of fun startup culture, we've got the job for you You will report to our Head of Growth and will be entrusted to develop and execute your vision for our user lifecycle program.

Tasks
  • This role will be responsible for driving user activation, engagement and retention, optimizing lifecycle marketing/CRM strategies, and leading marketing automation processes. We expect you to develop and execute strategic plans to retain new users and active subscribers.
  • Own our lifecycle marketing channels (email, push notification, in-app messaging) and take the lead on our marketing automation processes
  • Optimize for relevant KPIs at each stage in the user lifecycle (activation, retention, resurrection, revenue, and referral)
  • Develop and lead innovative new experiments with cross-functional partners across growth, creative, content, and product
  • Develop and implement re-engagement strategies for dormant or inactive users, aimed at bringing them back into the app.
  • Utilize segmentation approaches to go beyond basic demographic segmentation and gain a deeper understanding of our user base, ultimately improving retention
  • Work closely with product and data teams to identify new ways to increase retention of our active subscribers and develop churn reduction metrics and models
  • Work closely with growth team to create retargeting campaigns for churned subscribers
  • Create engaging content for CRM(email, push notification, in-app messaging) success through personalized segmentation, understanding its impact, and optimizing through A/B testing for better outcomes
  • Support product team on data-driven decision making by informing our product roadmap based on your insights on user wants and needs
  • Help the product team map and design a user journey that converts
  • Help develop our broader Go-To-Market and brand strategy
Requirements
  • You have at least 2 years of experience managing CRM campaigns, app domain is a big plus (at least email, but ideally push and in-app)
  • You have strong analytical skills and a track record of winning experiments
  • You have a strong foundation in digital marketing and mobile app marketing
  • You have a strategic mindset, and you are also able to turn strategies and insights into action
  • You have hands-on experience building campaigns on CRM and marketing automation tools
  • You can demonstrate your expertise in the technical aspects of CRM and marketing automation tools, such as dynamic messages, user journeys, deliverability, and segmentation
  • You are fluent in English. German and sign language proficiency are a bonus
  • You are creative, solutions-minded, and accountable
  • You have a curious mind and you stay up-to-date with tools, best practices and industry trends
  • Experience with mobile app marketing and education space is a big plus

This role is intended to be permanent, with 40 hours per week. This job is open to begin immediately, but if you cannot start immediately we still encourage you to apply The gross minimum salary based on 40 hours per week is €50,000 per year. Depending on your qualifications and experience, a higher salary is possible. Exceptional candidates have the chance for an individual performance-based compensation package.
