Join the automation team at B&R- a member of the ABB Group.This position reports toCTOYour role and responsibilitiesAs the Global Product Group Manager for HMI (Human Machine Interface) at B&R – a member of the ABB Group, you are responsible for driving the long-term profitable growth, innovation, and ambitious strategic direction of our HMI business. You are driving innovations and solutions based on market requirements by managing the global HMI product portfolio consisting out of Industrial PCs, Panel PCs, Panels, customized solutions and a variety of Software solutions
Main stakeholders for our Global Product Group Manager would be both externally and internally across our organization among senior leaders within R&D, Operations, Sales and other.
You will be mainly accountable for:
• Portfolio Leadership: Direct the HMI Product Group’s portfolio strategy to achieve and sustain revenue targets, overseeing product development, market positioning, and pricing to meet growth targets.
• Global Strategy Execution: Lead end-to-end business management, from innovation and product adaptation to operational performance, ensuring alignment with ABB’s culture and standards.
• Product Development: Lead multidisciplinary research and product development teams to ensure clear prioritization between stable roadmap execution and agile reaction to changed market and customer requirements
• External Partnerships & Sales Enablement: Establish international partnerships with key suppliers and stakeholders, and collaborate with global sales to drive planning, pricing, and contract management.
• Team Leadership & Growth: Build and inspire an interdisciplinary team consisting of +100 Hardware and Software Developers, Product Managers and Quality Engineers promoting an inclusive culture that encourages high performance, agility, and continuous development.
The work model for the role is: hybrid with preferred location in Eggelsberg or one of our facilities in Austria

You will join a committed, diverse and engaged team, where you will be able to thrive under the leadership of our Global Chief Technology Officer of B&R, a member of the ABB Group.Qualifications for the roleYou consider yourself a senior business leader with strategic experience of 10-15 years where you lead a large Product Development or R&D departments potentially in the Electronics Manufacturing Industry.You enjoy working in an autonomous environment with high level of accountability to build up the strategy of Human Machine Interface with a highly skilled multicultural and global team within Hardware and Software.You think outside the box to foster innovation and establish effective dialogues in a multicultural environment with peers, colleagues, and external partners.You have strong values where your passion lies in motivating and leading employees.You have a strong, well-developed communication in English, German is a plus.More about usAt B&R – a member of the ABB Group, you can expect an exciting and challenging job with an individually tailored introductory training. In order to comply with legal regulations, we refer to the minimum salary of the collective agreement of the electrical and electronics industry of 5.657,48 - 6.211,44 gross/month. There is a clear willingness to overpay, depending on qualifications and experience.
