Job descriptionIn your new role you will:Be part of the Computer-Aided Test (CAT) team that is aiming to closely link chip design and test engineering tasksDevelop software tools for the automation of IC test pattern, test program generation and simulationBe responsible for analysis of requirements, concept and specification, implementation, and testing/QA concepts of existing and new SW Tools and featuresBe the quality driver and responsible QA expert for this topicProvide user support, presentations/demos, and training for the users in the business unitsCollaborate with colleagues of chip design and test teams at world-wide Infineon sitesYour profileYou are best equipped for this job if you have:A university / university of applied sciences (FH) degree in Computer Sciences, Telematics, Microelectronics, or equivalent Passion and 3+ years experience in C/C++ programming & maintenance and legacy code comprehension, scripting know-how in Python or C-Shell/Perl is helpful Excellent mindset and know how for software-quality, paired with strong communication and presentation skillsKnowledge of GNU C/C++ compiler/linker suite, version control (GIT) and Linux is expected, Windows is a plus Experience in micro-electronics, HDL (System Verilog) e.g. chip verification/simulation (lab measurement/automation) is helpful Good command of English language, German is a plusWe are looking to fill this position through one of our partners. A valid Austrian work permit is a prerequisite. Our partner offers a payment of 3.921,29 EUR (gross) per month (14 times p.a.) according to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry.
