As part of the train control product development team, you are responsible as System Architect for the definition and establishment of the solution architecture according to the customer requirements. With your detailed knowledge of complex and safety critical systems and your technical expertise in challenging projects, you are the right person for this position.
Lead as Software and System Architect along the project life cycle for safety critical railway systems.
Establish the solution architecture through trade-offs between stakeholders' expectations, technical & technological solutions and cost, risks, and schedule in close cooperation with project management.
Define and propose the solution architecture in compliance with functional and non-functional (safety, reliability, security, etc.) Work in an international agile team and in cooperation with other business line units.
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in full lifecycle software development and system architecture.
Experience in private and/or public cloud environments (Openstack) and container technologies.
Experience with working in an international context (multi-unit/multi-site) is beneficial.
Fluency in German and English is a must-have.
Flexible working hours and, depending on the position, up to 60% home office.
