System Architect - Railway Interlocking (f/m/x)

For the development of the new generation of our interlocking system, we are looking for a System Architect to define and establish the solution architecture according to the customer requirements.

Your CHALLENGE- Lead as System and Cloud Architect along the project life cycle for safety critical railway systems- Acts as a technical expert to define the system architecture according to customer requirements- Establishes the solution architecture through trade-offs between stakeholders’ expectations, technical & technological solutions and cost, risks and schedule in close cooperation with project management- Defines and proposes the solution architecture in compliance with functional and non-functional (safety, reliability, security, etc.) requirements- Working in an international agile team and in cooperation with other business line units

Your PROFILE- Technical education (FH, University), preferably in Computer Science, Informatics or similar- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in full lifecycle software development and system architecture- Experience in industrial context (safety critical, transportation)- Experience in private and/or public cloud environments (Openstack) and container technologies- Experience with LINUX systems and state-of-the art network equipment- Fluency in German and English is a must have- Certifications on SW/System architecture are beneficial- Experience with working in an international context (multi-unit/multi-site) is beneficial- Experience in agile methodology is beneficial- Innovative, adaptable and customer-oriented team player

We OFFER- The salary for this position starts at € 70.000 gross p.a.
