In order to be able to execute this strategy and to fulfil our self-promise we are looking for an ambitious, motivated environmental expert who will engage in driving A1 Group towards a low carbon company and business.

What you do

  • You provide input and knowledge to monitor the environmental part of the sustainability strategy and the A1 climate transition plan on Group level and you know how to use environmental KPIs to develop business.
  • You are responsible for the Group-wide environmental reporting and its elaboration.
  • You drive the adaption of a Group-wide environmental reporting guideline and its execution throughout the Group.
  • You provide in depth knowledge on carbon emissions calculation (Scope 1, 2, 3), its drivers and reporting standards (GHG protocol, GRI, CSRD) to relevant internal stakeholders.
  • You are passionate about sustainability and want to leave your footprint with your colleagues and our customers by developing innovative, fresh ideas that add value.
  • You keep up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to sustainability, and you leverage this knowledge to drive continuous improvement.

What you offer

  • You have a minimum of 3 years of professional experience in the area of sustainability reporting (GHG protocol, CSRD).
  • Additional know-how on circular economy and green supply chain is a plus.
  • You are experienced in managing internal and external stakeholders in a complex environment for strategy execution by bringing agile project management skills into the team.
  • You provide strong skills in Databases, Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with ESG reporting software solutions is a plus.
  • You bring business acumen and are capable of analyzing and developing ESG KPIs.
  • Your attitude is positive and solution-oriented.  
  • You have a strong capability to think strategically.
  • Pragmatism and result orientation are essential for you.
  • You are fluent in German and English language.
