Senior Account Executive

Your role is to manage a portfolio of large to medium sized accounts, ensuring high quality customer service is always provided. The portfolio includes working in support of a Principal & National Manager on several well-known sharing economy companies. Consistently attain set revenue and expense budgets. Implement Client First Principles across the portfolio of clients

We will count on you to:

  • Meet and exceed service standards agreed in the clientâs service agreement.
  • Consistently meet and exceed revenue and expense budgets; Develop and maintain effective long-term relationships with key client decision makers and frequently monitor political, management and other changes within the client organisations to preserve and protect the Company's relationship with the client.
  • Take a pro-active approach to all aspects of account management and service delivery to clients, ensuring client needs are identified and met in line with agreed service standards; (Client First Principles)
  • Implement successful account retention and defence strategies.
  • Maintain an awareness of all large and potentially complicated claim related matters and assist claims personnel in the negotiation of equitable claim settlements on behalf of clients.
  • Engage with and manage all internal stakeholders in delivering âall of Marshâ to your client base

     

What you need to have:

  • Tier 1 Insurance Broking Compliance qualification.
  • Diploma of Financial Services (Insurance Broking) highly desirable.
  • 5-7 yearsâ experience in a similar role.
  • Sound knowledge and application of broking principles, insurance products and service. These apply to general insurance products and services.
  • Clear and effective communication skills.
  • Developed negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously within a multi skilled team.
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritise workload, meet deadlines and good time management skills.
  • Client Service â excellent delivery of technical, administrative, and consulting support to internal and external clients.
  • Change â awareness of environmental, financial, regulatory, and social factors affecting company and clientsâ operations and business and knowledge of internal company technological and product capabilities.
  • Commercial Acumen - an in-depth understanding of factors impacting on the delivery of services by the Company.
  • Planning and Organization â development and implementation of courses of action for self and others to ensure that work is completed efficiently and on time.
  • Drive & Self-Motivation - demonstrates a willingness to take on increased responsibilities and displays the ability to act independently
