Tiles of Ezra, a market leader in the handmade, bespoke tile space, known for its commitment to sustaining the authenticity of craftsmanship, is seeking an experienced Operations & Sales Manager to cover a maternity leave position. We take pride in producing high-quality, artisanal tiles that bring beauty and uniqueness to spaces around the world. The Role:
Tiles of Ezra is seeking a dynamic, results-driven individual eager to make a significant impact in our rapidly growing business. If you are passionate about driving success and innovation in the tile industry, we want you on our team
The ideal candidate will have:
- A friendly, positive personality with a can-do attitude, considering all tasks from a ‘no job too big or small’ perspective.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a warm and positive attitude.
- Proven experience in a managerial role, preferably within the tile or design industry.
- Highly proficient in Excel, with experience in CRM Software.
- Knowledge and improvement of systems & processes to maximise efficiencies across multiple departments.
- Highly organised, detail oriented, ability to multitask effectively, prioritising a varied workload, being able to observe and consider the day-to-day activities in line with the longer-term vision & strategy.
- Demonstrated success building trust, rapport and engagement with key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership:
Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency and excellence across all departments.
- Team Management:
Management of Sales, marketing, global and logistics teams. Lead, motivate and support our diverse team of skilled professionals, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment, and ensuring workload and deadlines are met.
- Driving Sales:
Ensuring sales team are achieving company sales targets and KPI’s whilst delivering an exceptional customer experience each and every interaction.
- Strategic Planning:
Contribute to the development and implementation of strategic Business development plans and to drive the company’s growth and market presence.
- Customer Relations:
Maintain and enhance customer relationships through exceptional service, addressing concerns and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Financial Management:
Monitor and manage financial goals & KPIs, providing regular reports and analysis to company directors
- Quality Control:
Ensure that Tiles of Ezra’s commitment to quality craftsmanship is upheld in all products and services
Key Requirements
- Exceptional leadership and people management skills, and proven ability to operate with autonomy in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
- Has a thorough understanding of systems & processes and has the ability to maximise efficiencies.
- Has a strong history in achieving sales targets and kpi’s.
- Highly proficient in Excel.
- A keen eye for detail.
- Worked in the tile industry for at least 1 year.
- Worked in the Architectural and construction industry for at least 3 years.
