Service Executive (Insurance Broker)

The Service Executive in Honanâs Real Estate division is responsible for the servicing of a portfolio of accounts which is allocated by the Account Manager, ensuring high quality customer service. In this role, youâll also help the Account Managers in all aspects of client servicing.

We will count on you for:

Collaborating and Partnering for Client Value:

  • Supporting the maintenance of effective working relationships with insurers and clients.
  • Support the servicing and maintenance of a portfolio of clients and providing front line client service in respect of those accounts.
  • Implementing renewal and broking strategies in accordance with instructions received from Account Managers while liaising with claims staff to ensure clientsâ interests are protected.
  • Ensure appropriate information flow with team leader and management so the correct people are kept informed and expectations are well managed both internally and externally.
  • Ensuring the completion of activities delegated by Account Manager within determined parameters.
  • Manage client and underwriter expectations.
  • Achieve agreed growth budgets. 

Inspiring with Operational Excellence:

  • Same day attention to claims department.
  • Ensuring compliance of systems and processes with the relevant legislation
  • File management in accordance with Honan standard.
  • Issue all documentation in accordance with our compliance requirements and Broking manuals including timeframes.
  • Ensure Risk Management and Compliance with the Insurance Brokers Code of Practice and all Corporate Governance regarding Privacy. OH&S, Self-Conduct etc. With procedures and processes are adhered to 

Satisfying and reaching with new technologies:

  • Complete Self-development training as agreed by you and your manager within the agreed timeframes.
  • Maintain knowledge and adherence to Honan company policies & principles.
  • Contribute to a culture of continual improvement and learning by exceeding annual CIP/CPD point requirements annually.
  • Contribute to continual process improvement, constantly challenging ways of operating with innovative ideas and solutions. 

Sharing Knowledge through Data and Analytics

  • Attend and contribute at all team meetings, sharing knowledge and lessons learnt with team members.
  • Gathering client information to support renewal documentation. 

What you need to have: 

  • Entry -Level role, no need to have experience in Insurance Industry
  • High Level Customer Service Skills
  • Effective Communication/Listening Skills
  • Strong Literacy and Numeracy Skills
  • Reliable attention to detail
  • Effective Organizational, Prioritization and Time Management capabilities
