Swimming Victoria is the governing state sporting association for swimming in Victoria. Swimming Victoria is a not-for-profit organisation governed by a voluntary Board of Directors. Our vision is “To inspire Victoria to Swim.” Our organisation delivers state level competitions and provides services and support to registered clubs and members as well as many partner organisations and their members in the aquatic and sporting industry.
About the role:
Swimming Victoria is seeking a Sport Development Coordinator to join our Sport Development Team. As the Sport Development Coordinator, you will assist the Sport Development Manager in facilitating projects and programs relating to the advancement of swimming in Victoria.
Key Responsibilities but not limited:
- Assist in the delivery of SV’s activities relating to Club and District development, including but not limited to SV’s Webinar Series, Committee Governance Training and Strategic & Operational Planning.
- Assist in the coordination of Participation and Development programs including but not limited to Fun Swim, The Abilities Program and Beyond the Pool.
- Assist in the coordination of SV’s funded Together More Active programs, Safer Swimming Spaces and Leading Swimming through Diversity
- Assist in the coordination of SV’s Diversity & Inclusion working group
