Holloway Aged Care Services is now recruiting an experienced Residential Aged Care Manager.

Holloway Aged Care Services is a leading residential aged care facility dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality care to our elderly residents. Our focus is on creating a safe, supportive, and respectful environment where our residents can live their lives with dignity and comfort. We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Residential Aged Care Manager to lead our team in providing exceptional care services.

Position Overview:

As the Residential Aged Care Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the aged care facility, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and standards, and leading a multidisciplinary team to deliver outstanding care. Your leadership will play a critical role in creating a positive, person-centered care environment and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Management: Lead and manage the daily operations of the residential aged care facility, ensuring high standards of care delivery, safety, and compliance with all regulations and quality standards.
  • Staff Management: Oversee recruitment, training, and development of staff. Foster a positive, supportive work culture that encourages teamwork and professional growth.
  • Resident Care: Ensure the delivery of person-centered care, focusing on the individual needs, preferences, and well-being of each resident. Monitor care plans and advocate for resident rights and dignity.
  • Compliance & Quality Control: Maintain compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards, relevant health and safety regulations, and industry best practices. Conduct audits and reviews to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Budget & Resource Management: Manage financial and operational resources, ensuring cost-effective and efficient service delivery. Prepare and monitor budgets and handle procurement of supplies.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with residents, families, staff, and external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and satisfaction.
  • Strategic Development: Contribute to the strategic direction of the facility, identifying opportunities for improvement, innovation, and growth.

Key Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in nursing.
  • Relevant experience in residential aged care management.

Experience & Skills:

  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to lead a diverse team.
  • In-depth knowledge of aged care legislation, regulations, and the Aged Care Quality Standards.
  • Demonstrated experience in quality improvement, risk management, and financial oversight.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with residents, families, staff, and external stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.

The successful candidates will have:

  • APHRA Registration
  • Bachelor of Nursing
  • At least 5 years proven experience of working within a diverse aged care facility, including 2-3 years' experience as a Facility Manager or Clinical Manager
  • Flexible, highly organised and self-motivated
  • Ability to adapt to change
  • Current Police Check -within the last 12 months
  • Proof of 3 COVID Vaccinations
  • Most importantly a passion and drive for aged care.
  • Ensure all nursing procedures are performed with best practice principles.
  • Are reliable and willing to maintain a safe and high standard of practice.
  • Respect each resident's individual needs, values, spiritual and cultural preferences when providing nursing care
