We are seeking a dedicated and experienced National Human Resources Manager to join our team. Based at our head office in Luscombe, this pivotal role is responsible for leading and strengthening the HR function to support growth across the organisation. The National HR Manager will oversee key areas such as corporate culture, employment policies, payroll, recruitment, employee and industrial relations, training, and compliance, while fostering a culture of innovation, excellence, trust, respect and employee engagement.
More specifically, you will contribute to, and be responsible for:
- Develop and implement HR strategies to support business objectives and address organisational needs, including the development of a world-class corporate culture underpinned by trust, respect, and employee engagement.
- Provide strategic advice and recommendations to the senior leadership team on HR programs and best practices.
- Oversee recruitment and workforce planning, ensuring the organisation attracts and retains top talent.
- Lead and manage the HR team, including direct reports.
- Manage performance reviews, employee relations, and training and development programs.
- Oversee payroll operations and ensure alignment of compensation practices, including incentives and bonus schemes.
- Provide leadership in industrial relations, including negotiation of Enterprise Agreements.
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation, privacy laws, and regulatory requirements across all operating regions.
- Foster a positive workplace culture, encouraging innovation, diversity, and continuous improvement.
- Champion change management processes and support organisational growth and transformation.
What You Will Bring
- Completed degree in Human Resources or a related discipline.
- Significant HR generalist and leadership experience through growth of organisations.
- Extensive knowledge of Australian employment law, industrial relations, and compliance requirements.
- Experience in blue-collar environments, particularly in manufacturing or construction.
- Proven ability to develop and execute effective HR strategies.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including conflict resolution and negotiation.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems (Oracle HCM preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional organisational, planning, and decision-making abilities.
