We are seeking a highly motivated Engine Sales Manager to join our sales team at Archerfield Airport (Brisbane).
The Engine Sales Manager will be responsible for managing and driving sales of piston engines to both fleet operators and private aircraft owners, whilst contributing to the overall sales performance of the business. This role requires an individual with a strong background in aviation sales, an understanding of piston engines, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with key customers in the aviation industry.
Your role will be to work alongside the Sales team to:
- Process customer quotes and orders in a timely manner and provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process.
- Build and maintain relationships with existing customers, whilst identifying new leads to grow our customer base.
- Manage the logistics of engine deliveries in a timely and communicative manner.
- Maintain the engine order books with the relevant manufacturers and report on performance as needed.
- Assist customers with sourcing parts needed to support engine changes or other needs.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure customer satisfaction and efficient order fulfillment.
- Maintain relevant data in our inventory & sales system.
- Assist with purchasing, reordering and inventory management as necessary.
- Comply with and be a champion for Work Health and Safety responsibilities.
- Comply with relevant CASA and NZ CAA approved procedures.
- Any other tasks as required by management.
As a minimum, you will need to have:
- Experience working in General or Commercial Aviation.
- Experience working in a sales or technical role.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A burning desire to help the customer.
This role will include some travel to customers and will be entitled to an annual sales bonus based on the annual performance of the company. We also have some flexibility to work from home.
