ABOUT RIBS & DUST AND THE ROLE:
Ribs & Dust is seeking a Logistics & Sales whiz to join our fun and vibrant team You'll work from our studio in Currumbin Valley alongside our talented team of jewellers. Founded by Simon and Jade Goodburn, Ribs & Dust has quickly grown into an internationally celebrated brand known for its exceptional craftsmanship. Our pieces are designed and hand-crafted entirely in-house. As part of a small, close-knit team, you'll have the opportunity to make a direct impact on our operations, production flow, and customer experience.

YOUR ROLE:
As the Admin & Sales/Production Manager, you will oversee a range of tasks that keep the studio running smoothly and ensure our clients receive an outstanding experience. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Customer Service & Sales: Be the main point of contact for all client communications through email, phone, social media, and live chat. Your focus will be on providing exceptional service, nurturing leads, and converting them into sales while staying true to the R&D brand and ethos.
  • Production Schedule Management: Take charge of managing the production schedule, coordinating orders, and collaborating with our jewellers to ensure deadlines are met and stock levels are maintained.
  • Quality Control, Packing & Dispatch: Play a key role in ensuring the quality control of each order and oversee the packaging and dispatch process, working with domestic and international shipping carriers.
  • Diary Management: Coordinate and manage online and in-person design appointments with clients and our head jeweller.
  • Studio Logistics & Operations: Streamline processes to optimize efficiency across all areas—production, sales, customer experience, and administrative tasks. You will also manage general studio supplies, packaging and dispatch stock, etc.

KEY SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:
To thrive in this role, you should possess:

  • Proven Admin Experience: A love for systems, spreadsheets, and organization is a must
  • Production Management Experience: Previous experience in this area is a plus.
  • Sales Acumen: Strong sales skills are an advantage.
  • Attention to Detail: A commitment to going above and beyond for our customers, team, and external vendors.
  • Exceptional Communication: Strong written and verbal skills to communicate clearly and effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with Shopify, Google Workspace, Excel, and other common tools.
  • Creative Flow: Experience working in a creative environment and balancing that with structured management is highly valued.
  • Team Player: You enjoy collaborating and contributing to a positive, inclusive team culture.
  • Passion for Jewellery: A love for or interest in the jewellery industry, especially bespoke creations, is a big plus.
  • Other: A valid driver's license is required.
