Your responsibilities:

  • Central point of contact on import, export and trade related issues.
  • Point of contact for third parties (authorities, customers and other business partners) regarding Trade Compliance issues.
  • Responsible for the application and control of export licenses, to the EU and third country markets (e.g. AEO approvals and status; BAFA approvals).
  • Support and supervision of sub-regional Trade Compliance Manager.
  • Development and maintenance of internal Trade Compliance rules and policies.
  • Training of affected employees of GROHE Holding Subgroup.
  • Monitoring of export activities (including exports from local warehouses) and other business partner constellations to identify potential Trade Compliance issues.
  • Monitoring of changes in local Export and Trade Control regulations.
  • Definition of mitigating measures to address country or region specific risks.
  • Ensure compliance with the due diligence process required for selected business partners to avoid violation of Trade Control (sanctions) & Anti Money Laundering regulations.
  • Organize and support internal Trade Compliance Audits.
  • Regular communication and information on Trade Compliance.
  • Ensure the availability of instructions in local language.

Your profile:

  • Successfully completed studies or a commercial apprenticeship preferably with a specialization in customs and/or foreign trade.
  • 5+ years professional experience in a comparable position.
  • Very good knowledge of SAP.
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office applications or equivalents (e.g. Google Workspace).
  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills.
  • Structured and organized way of working.
