We are Biomedica - a dynamic, internationally active trading company with local offices in 13 European countries. We serve customers in the field of medical devices, in-vitro diagnostics, life science products, biomedical immunoassays and clinical IT with headquarters in Vienna. Product Manager Serology & Automation (m/f/d)


Product Strategy and Roadmap Development

  • Define and develop the product sales strategy. Integrate various products into a unique solution with a focus on our product ranges.
  • Align product strategy with market needs and company goals

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including suppliers, distributor managers, sales teams as well as field application specialist and customers
  • Cooperate with international Biomedica sales teams
  • Visiting and supporting national and international congresses, roadshows and seminars
  • Flyers, brochures, product documents, selling support packages, newsletter and digital marketing activities in cooperation with our Shared Service Center

Market Research and Competitive Analysis

  • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape together with sales teams and our business development.
  • Analyze competitor products and strategies.
  • Forecasting & reporting

Customer Engagement and Support

  • Engage with key customers and stakeholders to gather feedback, understand their needs and support local sales organizations
  • Provide technical support and training to sales teams and customers
  • Perform online as well as on-site demonstrations of instruments and related workflows
  • Complaint Management in co-operation with our IFAS team

  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in a biosciences related field
  • Experience as a product manager or salesperson in Diagnostics is welcome but not required
  • Understanding of clinical workflows will help
  • Ability and willingness to learn quickly and pass on knowledge to others
  • Effective communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Innovative mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Microsoft Office skills
  • Very good English skills (written/spoken), German is a plus but not necessary
  • Willingness to travel (up to 50%)

The gross monthly salary for this position starts at EUR 2,800 (full-time) and will be discussed and agreed on an individual basis, depending on qualifications and professional experience. Experienced applicants are just as welcome as newcomers.
