Our client seeks a Manager with specific experience gained in the building industry in South Australia - in reinforcing steel products and services – to join their business. Either you are an experienced State / General Manager in reinforcing steel now OR experienced Sales Manager in reinforcing steel ready to go to the level genuinely seeking a new challenge and ready to turbo advance your career.

The Company, considered one of Australia’s leading manufacturers in steel building products, has been very successful in delivering a quality range of products, services, and solutions to their customers throughout Australia due to their commitment to providing an exceptional level of value-add and customer service.

Your role will be to deliver the State’s business sales revenue, margin, and bottom-line objectives for South Australia, proactively growing the company’s business and profitability in line with the overall strategy and objectives. You will be actively involved in contributing to the development of the business sales & marketing strategy, executing the sales plan, proactively building relationships with Key customers in the market, thereby building on the company’s base sales volume, budget, and market share in the Region. Further, as State Manager, you will be involved in managing manufacturing, operations, transport, and logistics; ultimately responsible for a fully functional Profit Centre encompassing manufacturing, sales, and distribution.

The ideal candidate will have a proven background in Sales Management / State Management in the building industry in reinforcing steel, mesh, bar, accessories and understand product, application, and this sector in South Australia. Thus, you will have demonstrated managing and developing major / key customers, account analysis, and growing sales volume / revenue. As a “hands-on” Manager, you will be both analytical and strategic with the ability to apply your strong commercial skills, a strong planner, and have excellent organizational skills, articulate and able to communicate effectively at all levels, flexible and adaptive, and be able to deliver real value to your customers. Further, you will be proactive, results-oriented, and enjoy building strong commercial business relationships. Tertiary qualifications are well regarded but not essential. Salary commensurate with experience. Ready to make a difference?
