This is a key management position focusing on the practice and operational management of Family Violence staff at Relationships Australia Victoria.

About the role
Reporting to the Senior Manager Southern Melbourne, you will have operational and clinical oversight of our Family Violence practitioners in the Southern Melbourne region. You will manage the delivery of high quality Family Violence (FV) services to our clients, including those who present as high risk or with complex needs. Your key responsibilities include staff management, tracking, monitoring and reporting on service deliverables, risk mitigation and providing secondary consultation, as required. Additionally, you will represent the organisation at key stakeholder meetings, contribute to organisational planning and source new income streams including contribution to tenders.
This is a permanent, full-time position based in Cranbourne North, with regular travel within South Metropolitan Metro Centres. The salary range is $132-$136k per annum plus salary packaging benefits up to $18,550 and superannuation.
About you
- Degree level qualification in Social Work or Psychology.
- Significant experience in family violence services, together with supervising, leading and managing a team of direct reports.
- Ability to plan, develop and manage service delivery in line with government and contractual requirements.
- In-depth knowledge of the Victorian family violence service system, including relevant legislation, guidelines and regulations.
- Strong program risk management and decision-making skills and the ability to work independently.
- Highly developed interpersonal skills, including verbal and written communication, negotiation, and problem solving.
