About the role

Playing a key role within Procurement, Property & Governance Advocacy Team, the Head of Procurement & Fleet will play an influential leadership role in driving innovation and operational excellence through shaping procurement, fleet, travel policies and strategies in achieving group growth.

Your contributions

  • Collaborate and work together with Senior Leadership Teams to shape procurement strategy, build strong supplier alliances and foster high performance culture
  • Develop and deliver a strong procurement policy & strategy to deliver a streamlined process
  • Drive continuous improvement in procurement processes and performance
  • Lead supplier relationship management to enhance partnerships, improve quality and drive innovation
  • Monitor market trends, commodity pricing and industry developments to mitigate risks
  • Lead the management of group's fleet of light vehicles ensuring availability of fleet assets through effective procurement, administration and preventative maintenance
  • Ensure governance compliance is implemented across the group businesses

What we are looking for

  • Proven experience and expertise in procurement and contract lifecycles with large businesses
  • Strategic thinking to develop policies, framework and governance
  • Strong knowledge of Australian contract law and legislative compliance
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively manage multiple priorities
  • Creative thinker with a passion for innovation and driving change
