Your future responsibilities:

  • Conduct cuttingedge research in power electronics, focusing on exploring and optimizing power circuit topologies and modulation schemes for both DC-DC & AC-DC systems.
  • Develop, simulate, test, and optimize control algorithms for power electronic systems.
  • Lead the design, analysis, and optimization of magnetic components to improve efficiency, power density and converter performance.
  • Regularly present & communicate research findings to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
  • Lead team efforts for scientific publications in established outlets (conference & journal).+
  • Networking and project acquisition.

Your profile:

  • A PhD in Electrical Engineering, or a related field, with a focus on power electronics.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with power circuit topologies, modulation schemes, control and magnetic component optimization.
  • Demonstrated ability to think creatively and innovatively, developing new solutions to complex technical problems.
  • Strong teamwork skills, with a proven record of collaborating effectively within crossdisciplinary teams.
  • Good communication and presentation skills in English, German is a plus.
  • Good sense of humor, kind, compassionate and emotionally mature.
