  • In Chemicals & Materials, OMV through its subsidiary Borealis, is one of the world's leading providers of advanced and circular polyolefin solutions and a European market leader in base chemicals and plastics recycling. Together with its two major joint ventures
  • Borouge (with ADNOC, in the UAE and Singapore) and Baystar (with TotalEnergies, in the USA)
  • Borealis supplies products and services to customers across the globe. OMV's Fuels & Feedstock business produces and markets fuels as well as feedstock for the chemical industry, operates three refineries in Europe, and holds a 15% stake in a refining joint venture in the UAE. OMV operates around 1,700 filling stations in eight European countries. In the Energy segment, OMV explores and produces oil and gas in the four core regions of Central and Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa, North Sea, and Asia-Pacific. Average daily production in 2022 amounted to 392 kboe/d. Its activities also include the Low Carbon Business as well as the entire gas business.

    Your tasks
  • Drive the creation of scenarios for the Energy business and provide analysis to derive informed recommendations for optimized capital allocation decisions
  • Lead the annual Energy planning cycle (e.g. planning calender and process alignment, coordination and consolidation of inputs, analysis of planning data incl. deep dive topics, drafting of presentations)
  • Challenge plausibility of inputs, and ensure data integrity and consistency
  • Coordinate the alignment of inputs with all Ventures, relevant Value Centers and Corporate functions in the Energy Business Planning process
  • Manage adhoc requests and deep dive analysis with good and autonomous delivery
  • Participate in and contributes to the planning review meetings with regard to technical/economic aspects
  • Calculate and analyse economics calculations, incl. reporting and consolidation of results.

Your profile

  • Master's degree in Finance or similiar area
  • At least 7 years of relevant professional experience
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills and capability to challenge projects inputs, economic evaluations and capital allocation models
  • Solid understanding of financial KPI's and drivers, financial modelling knowledge is a plus.
  • Previous experience within the Energy business is highly beneficial.
  • Ability to navigate business relationships across the group and build networks, team player.
  • Advanced user of Excel, knowledge of Planning tools is a plus (e.g., P2V), skilled in using ThinkCell and Dashboarding tools (e.g., Power-BI), Digital Mindset
  • Fluent in English
