About the role

  • Control and management of building construction and property projects
  • Generation of project and cost calculations and management of price negotiations
  • Planning and execution of tenders and contract awards
  • Contract review and assessment of statutory building regulations and requirements
  • Control of budgets, deadlines and quality, and coordination of resources with project suppliers and contractors over the full project duration
  • Monitoring, auditing and signoff of services supplied
  • Management of interface with architects, clients, building authorities, general contractors and other project partners
  • Project documentation, technical and commercial audit trail and preparation of any expert opinions
About you

  • Higher education qualification in construction engineering (building/civil engineering graduate)
  • Several years of professional experience in construction project calculation or purchasing in combination with project responsibility are of an advantage
  • Detailed knowledge of building construction processes and execution
  • Very good technical and commercial acumen
  • Good command of English
  • Obvious familiarity with associated software programs (MS Office, calculation and planning software, AutoCAD)
  • Selfassured assertiveness and ability to carry projects through
