Your responsibilities will include:

  • Workshops, training, and consulting for (early career) researchers in close collaboration with the Technology Transfer Office of the University of Vienna,
  • Support entrepreneurship activities for (early career) researchers in close collaboration with the Technology Transfer Office of the University of Vienna,
  • Active participation in administration and teaching (flexible and negotiable),
  • Scout for partnerships with existing startup programs, incubators, funding agencies, and relevant EU Programs,
  • Help to establish a local and international network of quantum companies, startups, and other stakeholders to promote collaboration and knowledge sharing,
  • Technology scouting to identify emerging technologies and innovations in the field of quantum science,
  • Raise awareness for the innovation and entrepreneurship services of the University of Vienna,
  • Support awareness raising for new innovative quantum technologies.

This is part of your personality

:

  • A Ph.
D. degree in physics, engineering, or a related field, ideally with a strong quantum science and technology background.

  • Previous experience and skills in technology transfer, knowledge brokerage, or related roles in academia or industry, especially in quantum technologies, are highly advantageous.
  • A team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in both German and English (oral and written).

Fixed-term contract and fair salary

:


The initial contract is for one year (with the potential for renewal for the duration of the project) including a basic salary of EUR 4, times a year).

Compensation based on your qualifications and experience can be further negotiated.
