As part of a global team, you will play an important role in tax aspects including Austrian and global tax compliance, tax accounting, transfer pricing and other international tax projects.

Austrian Tax Compliance and International (Accounting) Tax Matters

  • Austrian tax compliance, with focus on preparation and reviews of corporate income tax return, tax basis in subsidiaries, evidency account, VAT tax topics, preparation of Austria CFC calculation, preparation of the Austrian quarterly tax package and monitoring Austrian tax matters.
  • Tax accounting, with focus on preparation of assigned portions of the quarterly and annual domestic, international and worldwide consolidated tax provisions, ensuring current and deferred tax expense, deferred tax assets and liabilities, tax payables and tax reserves are adequately maintained, including federal and state levels.
  • Assist in preparation of related quarterly and annual tax footnote disclosures, prepare analysis to review monthly forecast for worldwide group for Manager review, prepare and/or review tax calculations for annual operating plan and 5year business plant (AOP/BP) as well as tax account reconciliations.
  • Transfer pricing compliance, with focus on countrybycountry notifications, preparation of country local files, assisting drafting and coordination with intercompany agreements and review of cost allocations.
  • Support for Austrian and international tax audits by providing support to data requested.
  • Research new Austrian tax laws to discuss, prepare necessary memos and forms, as well as monitor the Finance Online system.
  • Monitor international tax law changes and communicate impact, facilitate the resolution of miscellaneous domestic and international tax issues.
  • Facilitate the resolution of miscellaneous domestic and international tax issues, respond to business inquiries, assist in gathering and preparing data for special project, such as moving cash between countries, valuation, among others.
Team Player with Business Mindset, who also enjoys working Independently

  • University degree in Business Administration or other relevant commercially oriented studies (Accounting / Finance preferred)
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in corporate income tax and tax accounting
  • Solid knowledge of Austrian tax law (CIT and VAT rules)
  • Business fluent English and German languages skills (C-Level); additional languages are assets
  • Knowledge about and experience in transfer pricing are beneficial
  • Hyperion and/or SAP experience are also assets
  • Willingness to travel up to 10%, also internationally
