About The Role

Our Business Aviation Training Division is expanding and we are seeking full-time, permanent Synthetic Flight Instructors and Ground School Instructors to join our new business aviation training center in Vienna, Austria. The new center will house the first Bombardier Global 7500 full-flight simulator (FFS) in Europe, enhancing pilot training accessibility for operators in the region.

CAE will operate six state-of-the-art FFSs in Vienna initially and is looking for full-time permanent SFI's and GSI's to be based on various aircraft types. The new facility will be designed to offer the most advanced pilot training experience in Central Europe.

The Opportunity

We will leverage your aviation expertise to train you as a top-tier Synthetic Flight Instructor and subject matter expert, helping clients through their training while allowing you to spend more time at home.

You will provide expert Synthetic Flight instruction to client partners, conduct some classroom-based training, maintain trainee records accurately, and utilize cutting-edge equipment and aircraft technologies.

Our Ideal Candidate Has:

  • Held an EASA or ICAO equivalent license
  • 1500+ hours of total multi-pilot time (if you have 500+ SP hours, please specify)
  • Prior instructional experience - CFI, SFI, or SFE
  • Proficient in English with a keen eye for training detail
  • Ability to tailor training to diverse customer needs
  • Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office
  • Flexible for full-time work and residing near the Training Centre in Schwechat
  • Desirable to live and work in Austria
  • Willingness to travel for initial type and SFI ratings

Location

This position is based at our Training Centre in Vienna, requiring a full-time permanent commitment on-site.
