Senior Product Cost-out Project Manager

This position is responsible for the overall Project Management & Controllership of Jenbacher's product cost-out programs & projects and is situated in Jenbacher's Product Management & Marketing function.

In this role, you will manage the Product Cost-out (=PCO) workstream of INNIO's High 5 initiative to deliver/exceed the targeted results within expected timelines.

This includes ownership of defining and executing relevant analysis, which will help to identify key drivers and determine strategic actions.

The Senior Product Cost-out Project Manager (M/F/d) interacts closely with Product Line Managers across all INNIO Jenbacher platforms and cross-functionally with stakeholders in Engineering, Sourcing, Operations, and other functions.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Product Cost-Out Project for Jenbacher Product Management & Marketing
  • Collect, analyze, and evaluate measures to reduce costs on technically Combined Heat and Power Systems (=CHP Systems)
  • Monitor and report productout initiatives and provide risk analysis towards target achievement and initiate counter measures
  • Develop & improve key metric reports and present key findings to the INNIO Leadership Team & other stakeholders
  • Manage and improve measure tracker to capture all relevant info regarding project progress; support initiative teams in providing timely and correct updates on savings achieved and other key project metrics
  • Establish and/or improve relevant processes and (IT) tools to digitize the Product Cost-Out Project
  • Participate and facilitate interdisciplinary workshops on cost savings
  • Build, maintain and nurture close collaboration with Finance, Sourcing, Operations and Engineering

Your Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical or business management related discipline or relevant industrial experience
  • Ideally knowledge of INNIO Jenbacher products and business structure / processes
  • Results focused track record of consistently delivering results in previous positions
  • Profound knowledge of MS Excel (specifically advanced formulas, pivot tables and charts) including experience building complex reports and models
  • High IT affinity; ideally experience in Oracle ERP, Tableau, Windchill and/or ServiceNow
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to lead crossfunctional teams without disciplinary power
  • Strong continuous improvement and process optimization mindset
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills at all organizational levels
  • Fluent in English and German


The base pay is composed of the amount according to the Austrian collective agreement which is at least EUR 3.790,58 gross per month (x 14) and an over payment depending on your qualifications and experience.
