Cancer patients are treated with an innovative form of radiation therapy using protons and carbon ions. Besides cancer treatment, the facility is also dedicated to translational research.
Our Medical Physics team is in charge of the acceptance and medical commissioning of all medical devices related to ion beam therapy. We employ state-of-the-art robotic systems and cutting-edge imaging techniques.
Join our Medical Physics team as a Medical Physicist in Medical Software & Integration.
Full-time (40 hours) / 8 months limited
Challenges you will tackle:
- Specification, acceptance, commissioning, and QA of medical software systems (TPS, OIS, R&V)
- Quality Assurance at the treatment machine (dosimetric QA and in-room QA)
- Acting as a medical physicist at the treatment machine (MoD)
- Patient-specific QA
A background that will make a difference:
- Academic studies (Master's degree or PhD) in Medical Physics, Physics, or a related field
- Ideally 1 or more years of clinical experience in Medical Physics
- Experience in particle therapy is advantageous
- Willingness to work in shifts
- Proficiency in English and at least basic knowledge of German
- Hands-on mentality, flexibility, and team spirit
- Excellent presentation and communication skills in an interdisciplinary and intercultural setting
A unique proposition that stands out: For this role, we offer a gross annual salary starting from EUR 64,107.54 (full-time basis) with the potential for overpayment based on qualifications and experience.
