Institute for Austrian and International Tax Law
Fulltime, 40 hours/week

The

Institute for Austrian and International Tax Law is the largest institution of its kind worldwide. As well as being active in research and teaching activities at WU, the Institute is involved in many national and international research projects and therefore has an excellent worldwide reputation. Being the hub for the international tax community, the Institute offers a unique academic platform for significant, innovative and inspiring tax-related research.

What to expect:

  • Develop and carry out innovative, impactful, international tax research.
  • Integrate and actively participate in the scientific work and discussions at the Institute and with stakeholders.
  • Teach one course in the area of your tax law expertise at bachelor or master's level.
  • Support and cosupervise the work of selected bachelor, master and doctoral students.

What you have to offer:

  • A PhD or equivalent doctorate degree awarded by a nonAustrian university in the field of tax law. Excellent knowledge in international, European and/or comparative tax law, exemplified by a track record of publications and presentations at highlevel conferences.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
  • Welldeveloped communication and interpersonal skills and willingness to work collaboratively with researchers from an international and multidisciplinary background.

The minimum monthly gross salary amounts to €4, times per year). This salary may be adjusted based on equivalent prior work experience. In addition, we offer a wide range of attractive social benefits.
