Medical Manager (M/F/d) - Rare Diseases
in a permanent position/ full time at the location Vienna (Euro Plaza).

The
Medical Manager
(M/F/d) will contribute to the medical-scientific growth targets of the Austria product portfolio for Rare Diseases (hereditary angioedema and lysosomal storage diseases) via:

  • Understand disease and treatment landscape from a patient-centric and HCP centric standpoint
  • Generate and communicate scientific evidence
  • Develop and implement medical education and/or educational projects/initiatives
  • Support the development of internal capabilities
  • Provide medical leadership and build strategic partnerships

Your tasks in detail:

  • Inform and support strategic discussions around needed medical insights, scientific data gaps, evidence generation needs, publication activities and educational needs to be consolidated and prioritized in the local medical plan.
  • Responsible for the execution of the patientcentric, local medical plan/scientific communication plan based on the strategic direction set by the Medical Affairs Therapeutic Area Head and EUCAN Medical Affairs
  • Ensure the correct interpretation and communication of scientific data within the respective disease area
  • Support trial site feasibility, selection and study conduct as appropriate and in close collaboration with global clinical operations.
  • Act as a key link to the medical expert field to support the development of the respective therapeutic area business strategy, working closely with commercial, market access, evidence generation, patient support & services and patient advocacy colleagues across the company
  • Support onboarding, training, and knowledge transfer of and to LOC personnel
  • Act as ambassador for compliance, ethics, and Takedaism
  • Develop and maintain important relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and external organizations/providers to enable the company to be seen as an industry leader within the respective disease and therapeutic area.

Your profile:

  • Scientific degree: Medical Doctor, Pharmaceutical or Nature Science university degree or equivalent
  • Deep knowledge in speciality care, strength in research and interpretation of medical data
  • Experience with development of medical communication plans, support of data gap analysis and development of integrated evidence generation and publication plans,
  • Understanding of the legal and regulatory environment around patient services and healthcare solutions
  • Strong business / commercial acumen with sense of prioritization
  • Solid communicator with strong influential skills, strong ability to work in & manage a team and "Hands on" mentality & 'can do' attitude
  • Demonstrates ability to achieve results in highly matrix environment, strong collaboration and problemsolving skills, excellent relationship management
  • Proficient in German and in English

For this important and responsible position, the minimum salary is € 3,9922.15/month (full-time, KV chem. Industrie). The actual salary package depends on your professional experience and qualifications.
